GRAIN EXPORT
Your grain delivered across Europe and Africa
Turbo Cereal arranges grain shipments against a reservation — by truck, container or vessel. You reserve a volume over one to three seasons; we commit our members’ production and steer the operation together with our partner silos, through to loading.
Available to professional buyers.
Two regions, one chain
Europe
Road haulage and containers from French silos. Short lead times, splittable lots, top-ups possible during the season.
African continent
Containers and bulk by sea to ports across the continent. Volumes pooled across several members, export paperwork prepared with the freight forwarder.
Truck, container, vessel
The mode follows the volume, the destination and the deadline — not the other way round. We propose the one that holds your schedule at the best landed cost.
Truck
Continental Europe. Lots of a few dozen tonnes, delivered straight from silo to mill or warehouse.
Container
Sea and multimodal. Big bags or lined bulk — suited to mid-range volumes and to destinations without a bulk terminal.
Vessel
Bulk. Large volumes pooled across several farms, loaded at port.
Where the cargo ships from
Four ports of loading. The choice follows the destination, the tonnage and the vessel's draught — not habit.
Antwerp
Scheldt · Belgium
Benelux and north-eastern France. Dense multimodal links: the natural departure for containers.
Dunkirk
North Sea
Hauts-de-France and Picardy. Deep draught, takes large vessels without lightening.
Rouen
Lower Seine
Paris basin and Normandy. The historic route of French wheat to the Maghreb and West Africa.
La Pallice
La Rochelle · Atlantic
Centre-West and the Atlantic seaboard. Direct ocean access, with no river constraint.
Turbo Cereal steers, the partner silos execute
Collection from the member, storage, lot assembly, haulage to the port and transfer at loading are handled by our partner silos — facilities that do this work all year round. Turbo Cereal contracts with you, commits the production, steers the operation and follows every step: you deal with one counterpart. Depending on volume, destination or schedule, we also arrange part or all of the haulage directly.
The port of loading is set in the contract, along with the Incoterm. On a multi-season reservation it may change from one season to the next if logistics warrant it — never without your agreement.
Reserve the production, up to three seasons ahead
A buyer who knows what they will need in two years' time should not have to hope to find it — they reserve it. The reservation commits our members' production to your requirement, season after season.
- 01
You set out the requirement
Crop, quality, volume, availability schedule and final destination.
- 02
We commit the production
Volumes are allocated across members, season by season, with the matching crop programmes.
- 03
The deposit buys the harvest
Your deposit does not sit in an account: it buys the production from our members — 30 days before loading, or right at the start of the cycle.
- 04
You follow every lot
From field to loading, each shipment stays tied to its origin and its analyses.
How a three-season reservation is settled
Three moments, three payments. Nothing left implicit.
€150–180
per tonne reserved · exact amount set in the contract
€150 to €180 per tonne reserved, across all three seasons. This is the money that goes out to buy the production from our members.
The price is agreed over the counter before loading, season after season. You pay the delivery at that price.
The deposit paid at the outset is deducted from what remains due.
Pay earlier, pay less
There are two moments for the reservation deposit. Thirty days before loading, it buys a harvest that already exists. Paid at the start of the growing cycle, it pre-finances our members' season — and that advance comes back to you as a discount of up to 10%. The same euro secures your supply and puts a farmer in a position to grow it.
up to −10%
off the price, for a deposit paid at the start of the growing cycle
What secures the transaction
The deposit is not frozen in an account: it buys grain. Three mechanisms frame the operation — two bear on the crop and the goods, the third on the payment itself.
Warrant over the crop and the stored grain
The French agricultural warrant covers the harvest — including the standing crop, before cutting — and then the stored goods. In other words a real security from the growing cycle onward, not only once the grain reaches the silo: precisely the period when your deposit has already been paid.
Production insurance
The committed production is insured. If weather prevents a season from being served, your advance is not what absorbs the shock.
Irrevocable letter of credit
For buyers who prefer the classic international instrument, settlement can be structured as an irrevocable LC. Considered case by case, subject to our partner banks' agreement.
What the reservation guarantees — and what it does not
What is committed
- A volume, season by season.
- An availability schedule.
- A traced origin and analyses on delivery.
What we do not claim
- A guaranteed price over three seasons: each delivery's price is agreed over the counter before loading, season after season. No one can honestly hold a three-year price promise — and the reservation does not pretend to.
- Zero risk: the warrant and the production insurance cover the foreseeable, not the unforeseeable. The scope of the guarantees, the exclusions and the remedies are written into the contract — read them before you pay.
The exact terms — quality and tolerances, Incoterm, settlement method (deposit or documentary credit), deposit amount, price setting, applicable discount, guarantees (warrant, production insurance) and remedies if a season cannot be served — are set in the contract, before any payment.
Price is negotiated on a real market
Our members and buyers meet on the platform's marketplace: live Euronext quotations, an anonymised order book, immediate contracting or over-the-counter negotiation. The price formula written into your contract rests on those quotations — not on an in-house estimate.

Every lot has a history
The grain we ship comes from farms tracked on the Turbo Cereal platform: field of origin, crop programme, field operations, analyses on delivery. A buyer's specification can therefore be checked as the season runs — not merely recorded at loading.
Export documentation
Accompanying documents are prepared with the freight forwarder according to the destination and the agreed Incoterm:
- Phytosanitary certificate
- Certificate of origin
- Transport documents (CMR, bill of lading)
- Weight and quality certificates at loading
